playroom makeover
Okay I can finally talk more about the girls Playroom transformation . They are so in Love with and so am I. I wanted a playroom that was functional, extra storage and cozy…I mean they are in this room every single day and to have a it cozy was a MUST.. I wanted it a bit more colorful, this Wallpaper I picked was perfect .

Next, I truly wanted a nice blush colored rug.. I knew I wanted something cozy, washable and stain resistant . This Rug from Tumble Living was ABSOLUTELY perfect.. it has all I wanted and the design and quality is the best..trust me when I tell you it’s worth every penny ….
I also couldn’t wait to change out the ceiling fan to something prettier and boho style. After a long search for about a week I found this Chandelier at Amazon for under $250…I mean ain’t it just gorgeous and the price was perfect.
I always get asked about the bookcases , they’re from Ikea and is 3 different pieces put together, super affordable and I couldn't be happier. We did hire someone to put them together ha! because we all know how time consuming Ikea furniture is. We bought 2 of these HEMMES Bookcase and the KALLAX shelf unit. I wanted to buy these Storage boxes from Ikea but they were sold out at the time , I ended up getting these Large cube baskets from the Container Store and i’m so happy with them .
The girls absolutely love their Craft table from PotteryBarn Kids, and these Chairs. I had my eyes on the table and chairs for about a year until I decided to just invest in them..YES, there is cheaper table and chairs but I wanted something durable that will last for a very long time and PotteryBarn furniture and quality mets all the above.
I wanted this room to be a bit more personal for my girls other than just beautiful & Cozy. I found this Shop at Etsy to make the wooden Scripted wall sign with their names. Have in mind that they ship from Australia and shipping took about 2 weeks, but so worth it . It’s perfect and exactly what the wall needed.

Another investment I made was on this adorable Hanging rattan chair From Serena and Lily. I did waited until it went on sale around black friday . Alao, the Cushion is sold separately but it’s worth every penny. The girls absolutely love it. We did ask our contractor (he was re doing ous stairs at the time) to do us the favor and hang it up for us. It holds my husband up and he is a big guy … He’s 6’1 !!! So the swing is not going anywhere LOL…..
Overall, out of all my projects this one is by far my favorite…watching the girls enjoying every inch of it makes this Momma’s heart happy..I decorated the room according to their personality and both girls (8 and 1) are 7 years apart but they are always together in this room ….Boho style playroom definitely fits their Personality!!!
